Montréal, September 16, 2016 – The Chair of the Génome Québec Board of Directors, Martin Godbout, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board. Sophie D’Amours and Anie Perrault are both seasoned professionals in the fields of public administration, forestry, innovation and biotechnology.
The team at Génome Québec is proud to have on board two recognized leaders with extensive experience in strategic sectors of major value for the advancement of genomics.
“There is no doubt that greater diversity in the boardroom paves the way for new perspectives, innovative ideas and, in turn, better performance. These are major assets that will help us consolidate the strategic position of genomics in its areas of interest, including human health, agrifood, forestry and the environment,” said Martin Godbout.
