Instructions

All service request and sample submissions must be created on Nanuq before sending samples. A user account and an official quote (except for Sanger and PlasmiQ services) are required. To obtain an account and/or a quote, contact the Client Management Office.

Lab work will only begin once all documentation has been submitted. Incomplete documentation will result in project processing delays.

For any service requests, contact the Client Management Office to determine the best options for your project and obtain a quote.

Then, follow the steps below to create a request form and submit samples:

1. Log in to Nanuq.

2. Click “Add New Request” in the “Requests” section and follow the instructions.

3. Click “Next” to move to the next page of the request.

To request the return of samples upon project closure, indicate this under the “Sample Information” tab and provide the requested information.

4. Click “Submit”.

5. The principal investigator will receive an email inviting them to review and sign the application. They must open the application link provided in the email and click “Sign and Submit” after reviewing it.

An unsubmitted/unsigned request cannot be approved by the Client Management Office and will not be processed.

  • The “New Request” option should not be used to complete an existing request.
  • Do not use the browser’s “Back” button to go back. Use the page options in the left-hand menu to navigate through the form.
  • Click “Next” to move to the next page of the request.
  • The information can be saved at any time by clicking “Save and continue later.” Drafts can be accessed via the ‘Requests’ option in the “Requests” section.
  • The request remains a draft until it is submitted. To edit a request with draft status, click on “Edit” in the left-hand men.
