I have been officially employed by Génome Québec since May 2021. However, I’ve been working at the Biobanque Génome Québec/CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean since the very beginning in 2007. I helped set it up, from drawing up the plans with the architects to the layout.

I supervise activities at the Biobank, where we store several million samples: blood, serum, plasma, urine, cells, Covid-19, DNA, RNA, and so on. We also collaborate with our Centre d’expertise et de services for various customer services such as RNA and DNA extraction. My role is to ensure that activities are carried out to quality standards and on schedule. I also supervise the team, but to be honest, I’ve got great colleagues, so it doesn’t take too much energy on that side! What are your favorite things about your job?
