Montréal, March 22, 2019 — Génome Québec welcomes the first budget of François Legault’s government, which positions genomics as a driver of economic development. Finance Minister Eric Girard announced yesterday that an amount of $7.5 million would be made available to support Génome Québec’s operations, along with the funding of research platforms and the joint financing of genomics research activities.
