The 2025 Génome Québec Rendez-vous, held on October 23 at the Montréal Science Centre, brought together more than 200 participants, including researchers, clinicians, and partners from various fields, to discuss around a shared theme, From research to clinical applications: genomics as a springboard for the healthcare of today and tomorrow.

Throughout the day, participants attended conferences and panel discussions exploring the clinical applications of genomics, precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and the scientific breakthroughs that continue to transform our understanding of life.

A highlight of the day was the official announcement of the launch of the writing process for Québec’s Genomic Medicine Policy, a major milestone for the future of research and clinical practice in the province.

In the evening, Génome Québec celebrated 25 years of commitment to research and innovation with an event filled with pride and recognition.

The celebration highlighted the contributions of talented individuals, emerging scientists, and partners who, over the past quarter century, have helped make Québec a global leader in genomics.
