Montréal, October 6, 2020 — Daniel Coderre, President and CEO of Génome Québec, is happy to announce the appointment of Stéphanie Lord-Fontaine, PhD as Vice President, Scientific Affairs. The decision was unanimously endorsed by the Board of Directors on September 23, 2020.
Ms. Lord-Fontaine will be taking up her duties on October 19, 2020.
Ms. Lord-Fontaine has held a wide range of leadership positions in research administration at both the provincial and federal levels, where she acquired extensive experience in the life sciences, research and innovation sectors. She had in-depth knowledge of all areas of genomics. From 2007 to 2017, she worked for Génome Québec as a senior manager in the Scientific Affairs team.
