FFPE sample archives contain a wealth of valuable information for human cancer studies. The nucleic acids contained in these samples are generally fairly degraded, low in abundance and chemically modified. As a result, they may perform less well in most whole-genome genotyping and expression studies. We have tested new products and are proud to now be able to offer these genotyping and methylation analysis technologies for FFPE samples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Using a simplified procedure, all Illumina’s commercial microarrays, custom or semi-custom, can be used for FFPE samples.
