With a planned investment of $7.5 billion over five years, the SQRI2 proposes five areas of intervention and 12 key actions, which aim to rely on innovation to increase the prosperity of all Quebecers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Over the past 20 years, more than $1 billion has been invested to support innovation in genomics, including $400 million from the Qu\u00e9bec government, which took risks in the early 2000s and has continued to support the development of this innovative technology ever since. Thanks to the assets built up over time, genomics offers immense potential to help Qu\u00e9bec create more economic and social wealth.
