A lawyer by training and a seasoned administrator, she has a long track record in the field of research and innovation and possesses a very thorough knowledge of genomics.<\/p>\n

This appointment is also important to us since it reflects our commitment to gender equality,\u201d said Daniel Coderre, President and CEO of G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

The Board takes this opportunity to extend its thanks to outgoing Chair Martin Godbout, O.C., PhD, who is stepping down after almost eight years of service. The Board also wishes to thank Fran\u00e7ois R. Roy for his service as Acting Chair of the Board in recent months.<\/p>\n
