This test may reduce the number of amniocenteses performed in Qu\u00e9bec by 90% in the context of this program.<\/p>\n<p>The test was developed as part of the PEGASUS project, led by Dr.\u00a0Fran\u00e7ois Rousseau of the\u00a0CHU de Qu\u00e9bec\u2013Universit\u00e9 Laval research centre and funded by G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec and Genome Canada.
