Secko of Concordia University and Michel Dorval of Universit\u00e9 Laval, who will be supported by a\u00a0<span>joint initiative of Genome Canada and the\u00a0Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council<span>\u00a0(SSHRC)<\/span>\u00a0in social sciences and humanities research and related activities pertaining to research in the field of genomics.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>This\u00a0<span>allotment has been revealed this morning by the Minister of Science, the Honourable Kristy Duncan, as part of a\u00a0major funding announcement by the\u00a0SSHRC, that will support 3344 research projects throughout Canada and abroad.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Selected Quebec projects :\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Communicating synthetic biology:\u00a0 deliberative strategies for addressing emergent biohype about living devices<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Principal Researcher:\u00a0<strong>David M.
