Montr\u00e9al, September 16, 2016 <\/strong>– The Chair of the G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec Board of Directors, Martin Godbout, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board. Sophie D’Amours and Anie\u00a0Perrault are both seasoned professionals in the fields of public administration, forestry, innovation and biotechnology.<\/p>\n

The team at G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec is proud to have on board two recognized leaders with extensive experience in strategic sectors of major value for the advancement of genomics.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no doubt that greater diversity in the boardroom paves the way for new perspectives, innovative ideas and, in turn, better performance. These are major assets that will help us consolidate the strategic position of genomics in its areas of interest, including human health, agrifood, forestry and the environment,\u201d said Martin Godbout.<\/p>\n
