The funds will be used to accelerate the development of the technology and the world-wide launch of its portable diagnostics system developed in Qu\u00e9bec and enabling rapid microbial testing in less than an hour at the point of care.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The system was developed by GenePOC, a company funded in 2007 by Dr. Michel C.
