Unlike broad-spectrum conventional pesticides, these biotechnologies are more targeted, taking into account environmental conditions, present microorganisms, and the plants themselves. A major challenge is understanding how to optimize the effectiveness of these solutions for different crops. This project aims to use genomic tools to determine whether a bacterium is compatible, incompatible, or neutral towards a set of active microorganisms.
