The program focuses on fostering collaboration between research institutions and Quebec companies to drive innovation and economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accelerate the development of innovative genomics-based innovations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate faster commercialization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance the competitiveness of Quebec companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote collaboration between Quebec companies and public research centers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligible Partners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each project must include at least:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A receptor<\/strong>: A Quebec for-profit company (startup, SME or large enterprise) with a commercial interest in developing and applying a genomics-based solution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A researcher<\/strong>: affiliated with an eligible academic or research institution in Quebec (university, CCTT, research institute, hospital, or nonprofit with a research mandate).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Optional partners<\/strong>: Co-investigators, collaborators, or others contributing complementary expertise or resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Funding Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Total project budget<\/strong>: between $300,000 and $900,000, or more<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Co-funding structure<\/strong>:\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Genome Canada<\/strong>: funding equal to or less than the contribution from private sector partner(s), with a minimum of $100,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Complimentary co-funding<\/strong>: minimum 1:2 ratio (Genome Canada versus all other eligible sources).
