The researcher may only submit one application per program cycle as the academic project leader.<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One non-academic partner responsible for implementing or commercializing the research results. Eligible non-academic organizations include companies (Quebec, Canadian or international), industrial consortia, non-profit organizations, hospitals, and government organizations (federal, provincial, municipal).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects must be related to human health and address a clearly identified need of the non-academic partner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects must take place in Quebec to establish a proof of concept. They must include an aspect of an omic or a multiomic science such as genomics, epigenomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, nutrigenomics, pharmacogenomics, proteomics, transcriptomics or bioinformatics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-academic partners must demonstrate their capacity to use, implement or commercialize the project results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teams must provide co-funding to at least match G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec funds (1:1), from sources other than the Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c9conomie et de l\u2019Innovation et de l\u2019\u00c9nergie of Quebec (MEIE). In-kind contributions are accepted if they are in Quebec.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More details on the eligibility criteria are available in the Request for Applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>APPLICATION PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full application must be submitted through the G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec <a href=\"https:\/\/genomequebec.my.site.com\/applicant\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/genomequebec.my.site.com\/applicant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application Portal<\/a> before <strong>May 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (ET).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Please email G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec to <a href=\"mailto:Integration@genomequebec.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Integration@genomequebec.com<\/a> no later than <strong>May 11, 2026, at noon (ET)<\/strong> to obtain an account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FUNDING DETAILS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Grant from G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec: <\/strong>between $50,000 and $200,000 per project. G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec funds can only be disbursed to the academic partner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Co-funding required: <\/strong>at least 50% from project partners.
