Genome Canada will fund a maximum of $4 million per project. The rest of a project\u2019s funding will have to come from other sources. The total funding envelope for this competition is $30 million from Genome Canada and $16 million from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.<\/p>\n<p>In order to better prepare the projects for this competition, G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec will offer support throughout the process to all applicants, including on the strategic and administrative orientation of an application. G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec will organize &#8220;friendly&#8221; peer reviews of pre-applications prior to submission to Genome Canada.
