Within the new Genome Canada 2020 Large-Scale Applied Research Project Competition: Genomic Solutions for Natural Resources and the Environment launched in January, the Canadian Genome Centres have organized strategic sessions via webinar.
These sessions brought together university, industry and government representatives. The objective of each session were to dress an up-to-date portrait of how each sector tackles present and future challenges in Canada and to discuss how genomics could help that sector to create new opportunities to contribute to the Canadian bioeconomy and the well-being of all Canadians.
