Genome Canada has partnered with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) to launch a funding opportunity to support a national Research Catalyst Network.

This initiative aims to stimulate collaboration between basic and clinician scientists in functional studies of novel rare disease genes.

This network will help maintain Canada’s leadership in this field, while encouraging expanded international collaborations between model organism researchers and clinical geneticists identifying rare disease gene mutations.

Applicants should submit their application directly to CIHR.

Application deadline : May 5, 2018
