The goal of the competition is to promote research in genomics and human health among young researchers.

On December 4, 2019, the selection committee of the Rendez-Vous Génome Québec in Human Health Competition revealed the name of the winner: Julie Valdemarin-Burnier. Julie works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Oncology and Pathology of the MUHC Research Centre in Montréal. She had submitted a most promising project: Changes in DNA Methylation Patterns in Uveal Melanoma after Drug Treatment.

The goal of the competition is to promote research in genomics and human health among young researchers. Julie will obtain a credit of $25,000 in services from the Centre d’expertise et de services Génome Québec.
